John Dickerson is CEO of Mozilla AI, leading the charge on building an open-source-AI-first ecosystem for the Internet. Prior to that, he was co-founder and Chief Scientist of Arthur AI, an enterprise AI performance monitoring and security startup that has raised $55 million+ and calls many in the Fortune 500 its customers. Before answering the call of industry, he was a tenured Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Maryland; he now supports academic R&D from the industry side. He has worked extensively in responsible AI, worldwide blood donation via Meta, worldwide organ allocation via the United Network for Organ Sharing and others, combinatorial auctions via household names in the US, and various US governmental actors via DARPA, the FTC, and others.
